An insurance distribution organization had built separate systems for everything its producers needed. The problem was that each system had its own way in.
2Base built a portal that brought access into one place. Producers now sign in once and reach their tools from a single dashboard. Corporate teams can send updates only to the agencies they concern. Before a producer enters a connected application, the portal also checks that their license is still active.

THE CHALLENGE
Tens of thousands of users, but no single way to access what they needed
As the organization grew, new systems were added to meet different needs. Contracting was managed in one application, hierarchy and compensation in another, while production reporting, bonus programs, and training each had separate systems.
Every application had its own login and user access list. Producers had to manage multiple credentials, while administrators maintained the same person’s access across several systems.
Communication was just as scattered. Corporate updates were often sent to everyone because there was no way to target a specific agency. Old announcements remained in inboxes long after they were relevant, and office details were kept in documents that quickly became outdated.

Corporate communication also moved away from broad email distribution. News can now be categorized, limited to selected agencies, supported with documents or images, and automatically removed after its expiry date. Office information, FAQs, system notices, and external links can be maintained directly by the teams responsible for them. The wider benefit is structural: adding another connected application does not have to mean introducing another separate login.
